Rental Licensing

The purpose of this program is to assure that rental housing in the city is operated and maintained in a decent, safe and sanitary manner and has not become a nuisance to the neighborhood, or an influence that fosters blight and deterioration or creates a disincentive to reinvestment in the community.

This program applies to all dwellings and dwelling units that are leased in whole or in part for residential purposes.

  1. A Rental License is a biannual license – 2 year cycle.
