Licensed Trash Haulers

Haulers must provide weekly trash and recycling services to residents. See duties and obligations for haulers in City Code 5.1. Each year, the city licenses private companies to offer refuse hauling and recycling services to Rosemount addresses. Below are the providers who are licensed to serve Rosemount. 

Collection times

Haulers are allowed to collect trash, recycling and yard waste Monday through Saturday between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m. and Sundays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. 

Haulers pickup from businesses and homes west of Akron Avenue on Monday or Tuesday only. Homes and businesses east of Akron Avenue are serviced any day of the week.

Container requirements 

Trash and recycling containers in single family and duplex dwellings must be stored inside of a garage, or in a side or rear yard behind the front line of the house until they are put out for collection. Businesses and dwellings with more than two units must keep trash, recycling and yard waste receptacles hidden with a screened enclosure. Such enclosures shall completely conceal stored waste containers from all sides and be designed in such a manner as to contain any spillage from the containers.
