The City regulates the location and storage of firewood. The regulations are to reduce their attraction for rodents and other vermin and also so its location does not negatively affect neighbors.
- Firewood must be stacked in a neat, safe and orderly fashion.
- Firewood may not be stored in the front yard or less than five feet (5') from a lot line.
- Wood piles must be elevated 4 inches off the ground, or stacked on a hard surface.
- Wood piles may not be stacked more than 6 feet in height.
