Emergency Response Decals Program
The Rosemount Police Department has created an Emergency Response Decal Program for Rosemount residents. The purpose of this program is to be able to notify first responders they could be interacting with or attempting to care for someone who may require special considerations. The considerations that decals have been created for are:
- Autism/Special Needs
- Deaf/Hearing Impaired
- Brain Injury/PTSD.
These decals are available to be picked up in the police department lobby during business hours. Decals can also be provided to Rosemount residents upon request by an officer or ordered online. It is asked that the decals be displayed on the inside of the front door or on the refrigerator. This will help prevent crimes of opportunity by avoiding “advertising” any vulnerabilities; and ensure consistency for first responders to be able to locate the decals for better service and safety.
