My property does not contribute any runoff into the City’s storm water system. Why do I have to pay a fee?
Funding provides storm water drainage and flood control throughout the community. Even in areas where there are no storm water sewers, the City has to create roadside ditches, culverts and storm water ponds. The City must maintain, inspect, and expand these features. They benefit property owners outside the boundaries of the storm sewer system.
