Innisfree Park was named by the CPDC, Contractor Property Developers Co., to be part of the Evermoor Development and have an Irish name. Innisfree means “Island of Heather” and was made popular by William Butler Yeats’s poem, The Lake of Innisfree. This park became the property and responsibility of the City of Rosemount in 2007.
Innisfree Park is popular because of its lakes and hills. It is a favorite spot for walkers and families using the playground or hoping to see some of the area wildlife.
